How about making s’mores over a campfire? It’s not too late. And if you’re planning a get-together barbecue soon? Then use these FREE summer BBQ printables to make it your best BBQ yet!
Food is your #1 priority at a cookout, obviously. But after you’ve set the menu and prepared the grill, then it’s time to decorate with these fun printables! They’re completely free–all you have to do is print them out, cut them out, and then set it up!
Included in your free summer BBQ printables are cupcake toppers, napkin rings, water bottle labels, straw flags, food labels, and a banner to hang over everything! I went with a simple design, alternating between red and white plaid with black and white stripes.
Summer BBQ Printables Set Up
Setting up these fun printables are super easy! Here’s a list of supplies you’ll need and the steps to get everything ready! You can download all the printables below.
- Toothpicks or lollipop sticks
For your cupcake toppers, you’ll need the scissors, tape or glue, and toothpicks or lollipop sticks–whichever you have handy.
Cut out the paper circles and adhere them to your toothpick/lollipop stick. Depending what you prefer, you can either use the tape or glue. I usually adhere the stick at the halfway point in the circle so that the cupcake topper is supported thoroughly and won’t flop around.
Once the topper is complete, stick it into your cupcake, making sure the sticks are at even heights.
The napkin rings are super easy to put together. You can place your cutlery inside your napkin, then roll it up. To keep everything rolled together, this is where the rings come in.
Cut the napkin ring strips out, then wrap it around your napkin. Use either your glue or tape to adhere the two ends of your ring together. How tight you wrap your ring will depend on how tight you want your napkin rolled up. Once you’re done, the napkin will stay neatly wrapped up until someone is ready to use it!
Water Bottle Labels
The water bottle labels are put together the same way the napkin rings are done.
Cut out your water bottle label strips, wrap it around a plastic water bottle, and then use either the tape or the glue to adhere the two ends together.
For the straw flags, you’ll just need the scissors and glue.
Once you cut out your little flags, fold them in half so the design is showing on either side. Slide your straw in between the two sides at the bend. Glue the ends together tight enough that the flag will stay put on the straw. You don’t want the flag to be too loose and sliding up and down the straw!
The food labels have a line across the middle so you know exactly where to fold it after you’ve cut them out. Fold it so it stands like a tent. Then using your pen, write down your different foods and beverages that are being served.
These labels are a great way to differentiate between vegan/non-vegan foods, or for labeling things that might have ingredients some of your guests have allergies to!
After you decide how many triangles you want in your banner, cut them all out and arrange the pattern how you like it. Then using the glue, attach the base of the triangles to the string. The length of string you need depends on how many triangles you print and how much space you want between each one.
